Auto-Retry of Salesforce Activities

April 13, 2017

We know that sales professionals are most effective when they’re actively selling. We also know that some reps are spending more than two thirds of their time on non-selling activities. Syncing data between two actively changing sales systems such as your sales engagement platform and CRM platform is critical to ensuring that the right data is updated and routed according to your business processes.

Syncing activities between Salesloft and Salesforce is one thing that just got a little easier and is helping putting active selling time back in the hands of sellers.

Introducing Auto-Retry of Salesforce Activities

Failures in data syncing happen. More often than not it’s due to a record existing in one system but not having a corresponding record in the integrated system to connect with. For example, automatically creating a record in Salesloft but having no corresponding Salesforce record created yet to map the activities to.

AutoRetry of CRM ActivitiesSalesloft will now automatically retry and push historical activities that have occurred due to the lack of a connection being established with the Salesforce record. There is no manual work to be done to trigger the re-sync of data. Once the link is made to the record in Salesforce, we’ll simply process everything behind the scenes to ensure that the two records and their corresponding activities are in alignment.

Thank you for allowing Salesloft to continue to serve you. We are always excited to hear your feedback, so if you have any questions please check out the Knowledge Base or contact [email protected].
