Salesloft continues to provide a better, more cohesive experience for sales teams utilizing both Gmail and Salesforce through our Connect for Gmail capabilities. Fresh on the heels of the recent enhancement of creating and linking contacts to a Salesloft company, we’ve expanded the extension to now offer searching and linking a specific contact to an existing Salesforce lead or contact.
If your contact exists in Salesforce, Salesloft automatically attempts to create the link based on First Name, Last Name or Email. With this new release, (if we’re not able to make the link automatically on your behalf) we’ll bring back the search results directly in the side panel within Gmail where you can match to an existing record from the returned search results.
Ensuring that you have your lead and contact data in sync between your sales engagement systems is critical to ensure good contact governance and, ultimately, a superior customer experience. We’ve just made it a whole lot easier.
