Product Release: Single-Sign On

March 6, 2017

At Salesloft we care deeply about security. You trust us with your data and trust us to protect this data. Over the past year we have been hyper focused on providing the most robust security features for your team.

We are excited to announce Single-Sign On (SSO/SAML) for our customers. Instead of managing a separate identity for each Salesloft account, you can use your existing corporate credentials stored in ID providers (such as Okta, OneLogin, Active Directory, etc) to authenticate into Salesloft.

Enabling Single-Sign On:

  • Admins can enable SSO within the their team admin settings
  • Detailed instructions can be found here in the Knowledge Base article

There are many benefits of using SSO. By routing the majority of logins through the ID provider, it reduces the use of usernames and passwords, minimizes passwords being “spoofed,” and gives IT more secure control over password specifications like expiration or two-factor authentication.

In addition, provisioning licenses through the ID provider via groups lets IT more efficiently manage all the licenses across all the platforms used by that company with one-click assignment. This includes de-provisioning at once should an employee leave, reducing the employee’s access to sensitive or competitive information. Finally, it’s a better user experience, as users only need to remember one password, to the ID provider.

We are really excited to release this new enhanced security feature and as always, please let us know what you think. If you have any questions please check out the Knowledge Base, or contact [email protected].
