Dialer Enhancement: Improved Call Flow

April 5, 2017

We are pleased to announce a fresh enhancement to the Salesloft dialer experience. With this change, Salesloft now works a little more in step with your natural dialing flow, reducing the number of correction clicks needed when you are using the dialer and click in the wrong place or change your mind. A minor enhancement like this call flow improvement may have incremental value by itself, but when combined with other dialing enhancements, it becomes a larger, more concentrated effort towards improving the dialer experience as a whole.

When multi-tasking, you may accidentally click to start a new call, but haven’t yet logged your previous call. Conversely, you may also find yourself starting a new call without the need to log the previous call.

With our latest enhancement, we improved the flow for both of these scenarios.

If you start a new call, leaving the previous call unlogged, you will now get a message with a link that takes you back to the previous call so you can log it. If you don’t need to log that previous call, you can close out the message or just continue on with the new call. If you continue on with the new call, the message will clear out on its own. And all of this applies to calls made via both cadences and standalone dials.

As promised in our recent call quality sensor release post, we’re on a roll with dialer enhancements like this one, and we have even more on the horizon.

We are grateful to have you here with us on this journey, and we hope you feel the Salesloft Love with this product announcement, our past product announcements, and the ones that are just around the corner. We are always excited to hear your feedback, so if you have any questions please check out the Knowledge Base, or contact [email protected].
