Hey Champions, John Wood, Manager of Product Manager, here to chat about IPaaS! For years, Salesloft has had integrations with leading IPaaS solutions, with Zapier being the newest addition to our marketplace. Customers have used these integrations to simply automate importing leads and, in some cases, build their own custom CRM workflows. Salesloft partners with IPaaS solutions to open up a new world of data integration within your organization’s tech stack, acting as both the destination and a data source. What is IPaaS? IPaaS, or Integration Platform as a Service, is a cloud-based tool that seamlessly connects your different software applications and systems. Think of it as a bridge that allows your apps to communicate and share data. How can it help your organization? Today’s businesses rely on numerous software applications. IPaaS ensures these applications can talk to each other, preventing data silos and streamlining operations. Use Case : Most recently, our organization built an IPaaS workflow in Tray.AI to ensure that learning module completions could be attributed to a Champion’s earned points. Now, when a champion completes a Salesloft certification, they get credit for it in the Champion’s Hub. *chef’s kiss* Our team was able to accomplish this end-to-end in about a week in IPaaS. Why connect it to Salesloft? Your organization may already be using IPaaS workflows throughout the business for small automated tasks. For example, we use them to make sure our Product team sees your feedback. If your organization is looking for real-time data updates or you’re looking to push Salesloft’s rich data set into another solution, talk to your team’s admins and platform owners about setting up a workflow to accomplish this. What you need to consider Your organization’s existing IPaaS provider The source and destination of your data - Where is the data right now, and where does it need to go? The right stakeholders - Who is the SME in your organization about that data source? The IPaaS SME - Who has already built a workflow in your organization? I was unable to find an existing help article on this topic. We have a BDR out on leave. I’d prefer not to change the Salesforce flow to have all their leads be assigned to another team member. I’d prefer to use salesloft to process the re-assignment. Any best practices for managing team members out of office? If the best practice is to edit the source assignment rule then I’ll work with our SF admin.

Hey Salesloft Community, Microsoft is changing how they handle emails for high-volume senders. If you send over 5,000 emails daily to Outlook.com, Hotmail.com, and Live.com addresses, you need to take immediate action to ensure your emails continue to reach inboxes. Starting May 2025 Microsoft will require specific email authentication settings for your sending domain to boost inbox security. Why This Matters for Salesloft Users: This directly impacts whether your emails land in Outlook inboxes. Without these settings, your messages could go to spam or be rejected. What You Need to Do (and What to Check Immediately): Verify SPF, DKIM, DMARC are Set Up CORRECTLY: Work with your IT team immediately to implement or double-check these email authentication methods for your sending domain, ensuring they meet the following criteria: SPF (Sender Policy Framework): Must Pass for the sending domain. Your domain's DNS record should accurately list authorized IP addresses/hosts. DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail): Must Pass to validate email integrity and authenticity. DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance): At least p=none and align with either SPF or DKIM (preferably both). Following Salesloft Guidelines? You Might Be Set! If you're already adhering to our Email Deliverability Best Practices guide, you may not need to take further action, but verify your SPF, DKIM, and DMARC settings against the requirements above. Review our guide here: Salesloft Email Deliverability Best Practices Prioritize Data Hygiene & Clear Opt-Outs: Beyond authentication, maintaining clean data and providing easily accessible unsubscribe links are crucial for deliverability and compliance with these new requirements. Act NOW! Don't delay. Review Microsoft's announcement for full details: Microsoft's Blog Post on Outlook Sender Requirements and confirm your email authentication setup, data hygiene practices, and opt-out link functionality.

Hi fellow Lofters - I’m a Salesloft admin for my org and I wanted to see how other admins and users might navigate this “issue.” Our org has established a domain send limit and it sometimes frustrates reps as they are trying to engage their prospects/customers (and especially multithread). A particular problem some reps have is not knowing when/why they’ve hit our daily domain limit. Has anyone else found a way to easily investigate how many cadence emails are being sent to a particular domain? Perhaps a Salesforce report? Curious to hear how other Salesloft teams are helping their reps with this.

Hi Champions! I have a customer expanding into the EU and being mindful of GDPR laws, we are exploring the use of a custom email preference center link in place of Salesloft opt-out links. Anyone taking this approach? What works well? What doesn’t? Are you using a Marketing Automation platform for EPC links?

Hi all, looking for a best practice to see a report on overdue steps for my team. So not the % of steps which have been overdue but the actual open step. We don’t use Salesforce.
