SALESLOFT NAMED NUMBER 6 ON LIST OF 50 HIGHEST RATED PRIVATE CLOUD COMPUTING COMPANIES TO WORK FOR

Leading Sales Engagement Platform Earned Top 10 Spot, List Showcases Private Cloud Companies with the Highest Levels of Employee Satisfaction

Salesloft on Nasdaq Tower with the Battery Ventures Highest Rated Cloud Computing Companies projectATLANTA – April 30, 2019 – Salesloft, the provider of the leading sales engagement platform, today announced that it has been recognized as one of the 50 Highest Rated Private Cloud Computing Companies To Work For. The list was released by Battery Ventures, a global investment firm that backs cloud companies, with data provided by Glassdoor, one of the world’s largest job and recruiting sites. The list highlights 50 privately held companies – all business-to-business, cloud computing companies – where employees report the highest levels of satisfaction at work, according to employee feedback shared on Glassdoor.

The distinction placed Salesloft at number six, with an overall company rating of 4.9, compared to 3.4, which is the average company rating across Glassdoor. Salesloft’s CEO, Kyle Porter, boasts a 99% approval rating. Additionally, the company has a 99% positive business-outlook rating based on feedback shared by employees. The broader Glassdoor average is 49%. A positive business outlook means employees believe business will improve in the next six months.

“Our purpose is to create an environment where others can come to learn more, do more, and become more,” said Kyle Porter. “Every Salesloft employee is encouraged to apply their talents and skills to serve our customers as well as each other. We show love to our people so they can pay it forward to our customers.”

This is the third year Battery has issued the list, along with a related ranking of the 25 Highest Rated Public Cloud Computing Companies to Work For. The rankings highlight a broader trend of businesses increasingly turning to the cloud to run critical technology systems and software instead of using on-premise solutions. They also highlight the increasing importance of cohesive culture and employee happiness in developing a successful business.

“The private companies on this list have not only scaled their products, teams and business functions – they’ve also managed to scale culture,” said Neeraj Agrawal, a Battery general partner who specializes in cloud investing. “We view these rankings as a key indicator of company health and longevity, and we hope all companies on this list view it as an honor to be included.”

A Glassdoor economic research study shows that companies with high employee satisfaction often post stronger financial performance.

Glassdoor noted that employees at these highly rated companies commonly state in reviews that they enjoy working for: mission-driven companies with strong and unique company cultures; employers that promote transparency; and companies with experienced senior leaders who regularly and clearly communicate with employees. According to one anonymous employee review of Salesloft on Glassdoor:

“Salesloft is an awesome place to work because everyone loves the much-needed product and service that we provide. But the reason that makes Salesloft such a special place to work is because of the people that work here. The culture and company values run deep.”
