SalesLoft is having its own baby boom this year! We are looking forward to welcoming at least ten “Little Lofters.” Today, we’re proud to announce the arrival of new parent benefits that will deliver a better baby experience.
It’s hard to believe, but as recently as 2016, only 13 percent of private workers had access to paid family leave. We believe in the importance of family time and that all employees should be able to take time off as they welcome new children into their families. We also want to make their lives easier, with perks like meal delivery, house cleaning, and even free diapers.
One of our biggest responsibilities as a fast-growing company is to take care of our people – our family of ‘Lofters.’ We want to set the pace as one of Atlanta’s Top Workplaces by providing benefits that help Lofters grow their families. Our inclusive new parent benefits provide families of all types with the flexibility and time to bond with their new additions.
In an era when would-be parents are delaying their decision to start a family in lieu of professional advancement, it’s more important than ever for employers to encourage and support their employees in both their professional and personal life choices. Any employee who is expecting or plans to adopt a child, and has worked at SalesLoft for at least one year is eligible for our new parent benefits.
SalesLoft’s New Parent Benefits
SalesLoft is excited to provide our employees with a comprehensive range of new parent benefits, which include:
- 12 weeks of paid maternity leave or 6 weeks of paternity and/or adoption leave
- Bi-weekly cleaning service for 12 weeks
- Meals twice a week for 12 weeks
- 12-month supply of diapers
Additions such as a cleaning service, meal delivery, and diaper supply make the parenting cadence easier. These additions enable our new parents to fully engage in the best parts of bringing a new child into their home. Our goal is to help our Lofters savor this special time.
We also want to make it more comfortable for our employees to come back to work. Helping an employee return from parental leave is just as important – if not more important – than onboarding a new hire.
To assist with this adjustment, we’re providing a four-week transition period. Employees can split their time 50/50 between work and home, as they acclimate to their new schedule as a working parent.
Special thanks to our Chief People Officer, Christine Kaszubski, for her work in making this new family leave policy a reality.
