It feels like only yesterday we exclaimed, “It’s Gonna Be May” and now we are welcoming our first summer month. Before we fully embark on summer vacation, let’s take a look back at what May had in store for us!
The Merry Month of May
May took us to two new cities: Austin and Boston. We gathered a community of sales rockstars and learned quite a bit from them!
Austin
The site of an exciting tech boom, Austin didn’t disappoint in user meetup turnout. Did you know that Austin is also home to 1.5 million Mexican free-tailed bats? We saw it and can assure you it’s pretty amazing. Here are some highlights from our time in the Lone Star state that won’t get caught in your hair:
“Overheard”
“Great question here: ‘has anyone tested whether the first touch should be a call or an email?’ Thoughts?” #loftermeetup @Salesloft

“One thing we really like is that all our correspondence is tracked in SalesForce. I love that.”- overheard at the @Salesloft Austin user meetup #loftermeetup

Oh. My. BIG thanks to @evernote for co-hosting our first Austin #loftermeetup. This group pictured isn’t everyone but a great sample of our wonderful community in TX. We ❤ you! Thank for the meaningful conversation. ???✌?? pic.twitter.com/gVEsRoSHNH

Boston
From lobster to software, Boston is full of awesomeness. We had an incredible discussion led by our Smartsheet advocates and two of Salesloft’s top sales executives, Chris Smith and Sean Southworth.
“Overheard”
“After one quarter of using @Salesloft we saw a 40% increase in activities and a 10% increase in opportunities created” ? to my ? #loftermeetup

“Really helpful being able to see the response rate of a cadence” overhead tonight at the Boston user meetup! #loftermeetup

Shoutout to Our Great Hosts: Smartsheet
Salesloft customer success manager, Brianna Dinoff and Smartsheet SDR’s and Salesloft advocates, Nick Weiss and Paul Barrett.
Look at this Boston meetup crew. Again, just a sample of our amazing community here in Beantown but so engaging- I learned a few new things, too! Hope you enjoyed and big shoutout to @Smartsheet for being our co-hosts for the evening! #loftermeetup pic.twitter.com/D2Fc3kFxoS

More than a Feeling
We’ve said it before and we’re sticking to it: user meetups = community engagement = a way to show our #saleslove and appreciation for our wonderful customers. In fact, we have a SalesLove page showcasing tweets by you, the Lofters we so admire.
You never know – you may see your own tweet on here at some point!
May the Meetups Be With You
