That is the challenge that Yasmine Schmied faces head-on in her day-to-day work. As the Sales Excellence Process Manager for the financial technology and services provider SS&C Intralinks, it is Yasmine’s mission to make the sales processes at SS&C Intralinks more efficient.

I am responsible for helping manage sales processes within our systems … and making those processes more efficient, so [our sales reps] spend less time in the platforms and get more time back to sell to our customers.

For Yasmine and the sales team at SS&C Intralinks, Salesloft plays a critical part in giving that time back to sellers. At our Saleslove on Tour event, Yasmine shared how she and the team at SS&C Intralinks use Salesloft to manage their tasks in the short-term that lead to more revenue in the long-term. 

Turning sales data into actionable insights

When it’s easily accessible, data can be a game-changer for sales teams. But that’s only true if that data is a reliable reflection of what is happening within the sales process.

In her role at SS&C Intralinks, Yasmine is constantly digging into the data. That’s why the reliability of that data is top-of-mind for her. “As someone who lives and breathes in data and analytics, the core challenge is always about data integrity and what data is true,” she said.

With Salesloft, Yasmine has found that data integrity is no longer an issue. Because Salesloft automates the process of capturing crucial data, like sales activities, their sellers can spend more time with their buyers while the revops team gets peace of mind about the accuracy of the sales analytics.

Just by having reps use Salesloft, it automatically captures [data] without them having to think twice about what activity they’re logging.

Salesloft allows Yasmine and the team to drill into those sales analytics and surface insights that will positively impact their bottom line. Yasmine personally spends much of her time in the Salesloft Activity Dashboard which, combined with the team’s key performance indicators (KPIs), delivers valuable insights that helps her determine which activities are truly driving sales growth.

The thing I love most about my job is … we get to do what we love to do which is reporting on what [our sellers are] doing, how they’re doing it, and bringing in the financial results that we’re looking to achieve. With Salesloft, we’re able to do just that.

Specifically, the sales team at SS&C Intralinks has benefited from the automation that Salesloft provides. By developing and leveraging automated cadences, the team is able to continually engage their prospects at scale. Without the burden of executing these tasks manually, the sales team has seen a massive boost to their efficiency.

Yasmine shares that she’s excited about the future with Salesloft on her side. “I'm excited to see the results of how the platform helps us further grow our business across some of those key accounts that we've struggled [to gain] traction in. It will help us … on the back end to be able to

analyze what type of activities are helping drive those metrics so we can replicate that across other territories,” she said.
