It’s hard to believe another Rainmaker has come and gone. It sounds cliché, but this really was the best one yet!
For the next couple of weeks, we’ll be recapping some of our favorite moments. Today, we want to feature some attendee highlights. Here’s a recap from their perspective based on what we overheard on Twitter about #Rainmaker18.
Big Open
Day 1 started out strong. Reilly Biederer kicked off the conference with a powerful rendition of “Love on the Brain.” You could feel the #SalesLove in the air. ♥

Our fearless leader, Kyle Porter, took the mic to thank everyone and talk a little about how we’re sharing the #SalesLove at Salesloft.

The women of sales had a strong presence at the conference. Wendi Sturgis, Yext’s Chief Customer Officer, inspired everyone with her talk about customer relationships and trust.

Customer First
It’s one of our core values and it’s a theme that we loved seeing throughout the conference: Customer First.

Top 5 #Rainmaker18 takeaways:
1. A/b test EVERTHING
2. Be a human, have a conversation, build curiosity
3. Be interested in other people
4. Embrace your customer’s problem; not your solution
5. Prospecting is the most important thing sales does in their career

Culture
A great sales program starts with the people.
Favorite quote so far for the Board of Directors of Salesloft at #Rainmaker18 by Tom Noonan about the importance of culture “You can’t compete with a group of people who live what they do.” https://t.co/u6KIfIxf5z
